Creative apps

After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Blender, driven through their own scripting, so Mori works inside the real app with its real renders and exports.

Through the app's own scripting

Mori does not click around a creative app's window. She drives it the way its own scripts do: ExtendScript for Adobe's apps, Python for Blender. The work happens in the real app, on your files, with its own renderer and its own export presets. The app has to be installed: when it is not, Mori says so and nothing runs. Adobe's apps install from the Creative Cloud app, and Blender from blender.org.

Ask in plain words ("cut these clips into a 30 second trailer in Premiere", "make a lower third in After Effects", "model a low poly chair in Blender and export it for Roblox"), or open them from More tools in Creation.

After Effects

Mori builds and changes compositions with ExtendScript, through AppleScript on the Mac and the app's own command line on Windows. Each change she makes is one undo step in After Effects. ae_render renders with no window, through After Effects' own renderer, and video_check looks at the result frame by frame.

Premiere

Premiere has no outside scripting door, so Mori works through her own small panel inside it. Installing the panel is your choice; it is unsigned and uses Adobe's debug switch. premiere_export exports with Premiere's own presets. A cut made in Creation's Editor can be handed to Premiere from More tools.

Photoshop

Mori runs ExtendScript in Photoshop, through AppleScript on the Mac and COM on Windows, so the edits are made by Photoshop itself, on your own documents.

Blender

Mori runs Blender's Python with no window, on Blender 4.2 or newer.

  • blender_run runs a script; blender_api looks up Blender's own API so the script is written against the version you have.
  • blender_render renders with Eevee, Cycles or Workbench, to stills or to MP4 and WebM.
  • blender_export writes GLB, glTF, FBX, OBJ, USD or STL, with presets for Roblox, Unity and Unreal, and imports the file again to check it.
  • blender_import brings models in.
  • An optional live link reaches the Blender you have open: local only, and behind a key.

From a picture to a 3D model

Hand Mori a picture and she turns it into a 3D model on Meshy or TRELLIS on fal, with your own key, and saves it as a GLB. The price rule is the same as for pictures. Then Blender fits the model to where it is going: its scale, its triangle budget, and the format the game engine reads. More in Games and mods.
