01  What she does

She does the work, then proves it.

Give her the whole job in one sentence. She plans it, does it on your machine, and checks the result before she tells you it is done.

A replay of a real Mori build of Tempo, a kanban board with a marketing page. In 30 minutes and 43 seconds she checked 3 sources, wrote 11 files, ran 7 commands and opened 5 previews.

Build me a complete, premium web app called Tempo in the folder …/tempo: a kanban project board with drag and drop between columns, keyboard shortcuts (n for a new card, / to search, arrow keys to move focus between cards), search and label filters, dark and light mode, and everything saved in localStorage. Put a polished marketing landing page in front of it with a monthly and yearly pricing toggle. Make it look like a real product, not a template, and open the preview when it works.

Drawn from the step log of a real 31 minute build and shown in about 40 seconds. The code and the previews are from the finished files. One cleanup command we refused is left out.

The build above ends on a harness she wrote for it: 39 checks on the board and the pricing toggle, all passing. Her review then found three real bugs and fixed them, and her last line said the tests had not run again since.

  • One mode that does the whole ask

    Build is the new default. In one prompt Mori researches what she needs, puts up a plan, builds it, runs it and checks it, without stopping to ask you to switch modes. Research and building used to be separate jobs. Now they are one turn.

  • Five depths of thinking

    Instant runs on Haiku 4.5, Quick on Sonnet 5, and Balanced, Deep and Max on Opus 5.5, each step thinking longer before it acts. Small talk always drops to the quick model, so you pay for depth only when the work needs it.

  • Every model call streams

    The engine now streams every call end to end. Her reasoning reaches the screen as she has it, a provider that goes quiet is caught the moment it does, and a long turn never sits on a frozen screen.

  • Builds that finish

    A long write is never cut off by a clock: a call ends only when the provider goes silent, a write cut short is retried with room to finish, and a build with plan steps left carries on by itself. Stop still ends any turn within a second, even when a tool never answers.

  • A command check that cannot be frozen or fooled

    Every command passes a safety reader that now fails closed: anything too long or tangled to read is refused with a way forward, never run unread. Against 1.38 on 65,624 inputs it is never weaker, and 3,111 inputs that froze or crashed the old reader now answer in under 110 ms.

  • Proof only from what you could see

    When Mori checks her own work, text counts only if it is really on screen, console errors count across the whole journey, and every journey starts from a clean page. Eight ways a check could pass on something you would never see are closed, each tested in a real browser.

  • One sentence, one step

    A direct order like start the dev server, run the tests or install a package is done, checked once and answered in a line. Starting a server went from nine model calls and nearly two minutes to two calls and about ten seconds.

  • Cheaper every release

    This release cuts the cost of the same work again: a simple order costs about five cents once the conversation is warm, where starting a server cost $0.73, and small fixes take 15% fewer model calls. Every release from here will cut the price of the same work, and the notes will say by how much.
